In 2006, Rickey built a home for my wife and me that was very
affordable, yet very functional with extras where they counted most.
We have built seven (7) residences during our marriage and I grew up
around the home construction business.
During the construction phase, Rickey was very easy to work with.
When problems arose, he always viewed the situation from the home
owner's perspective and goes the extra mile to make the owner happy.
He was always prompt in returning phone calls and quick to address
concerns or make corrections. Also, after the closing, he has remained
just as prompt in addressing little issues and problems that popped
up. Whether we build a 1500 sq. ft. lake house or a 4000 sq. ft. home
with all the extras, I would give Rickey first shot at building for
us. If you need a builder who is reliable, honest, fair in his prices,
and easy to work with, you will like Rickey. He will go the extra
mile.

My wife, two daughters and I recently moved to the Texarkana area
and built our first new home with Home Building Group of Texarkana.
We originally planned to buy an existing home and in our process of
looking came upon homes that were being built by HBG. We found a floor
plan that we liked and one that would work for our family. The entire
process from start to finish was rewarding. HBG provided professional
consultation both before and during construction.
Our home was completed on time and we moved in as scheduled, within
four months of the start of construction. We highly recommend HBG to
anyone thinking of building a new home.

The purpose of this letter is to tell of our experience with
Rickey Riebesell as related to Home Building Group of Texarkana,
Inc.
In July 2005, my husband’s job was transferred from York,
Pennsylvania, to Texarkana, Texas. Although in our forties, we were
newlyweds, and were looking for an upscale, “special” home as our
first residence together as a couple. With this being our first time
to Texas, Marty and I knew no one, nor did we know our way around
the city. We spent several days with a local Texarkana Real Estate
Agent, but could not find an existing home that satisfied our high
expectations. Upon further research, our realtor said he knew of a
house that was in the process of being built that he thought we
would really like. He informed us it was a beautiful, large,
three-bedroom brick Rancher on an acre of land in a country-style
setting with many special amenities. We agreed to go see it. Upon
arriving at 110 Lost Antlers, we were greeted by Rickey Riebesell,
the President of Home Building Group of Texarkana, Inc. Rickey had
his work clothes on and was working on finishing the inside of the
house, right along side the rest of his employees. Had he not
introduced himself, we would not have realized his status. Our first
impressions of Rickey were immediately positive. Even though he was
right in the middle of a project, he was friendly, courteous, took
us on a tour of the house, and was eager to answer all of our
questions. We immediately liked Rickey, but even more important to
us at the time, we fell in love with his house!
Thinking back, I think there were several things that made Rickey
Riebesell’s house stand out from the rest of the houses we had
toured in comparable price ranges: 1) All of the rooms in Rickey’s
house not only had beautiful trim moldings at the base of the walls,
but also outlined the ceilings. 2) the Family Room and the Master
Bedroom had box or trey ceilings 3) beautiful wood cabinetry work
accented the large kitchen and bathrooms 4) an oversized great room
on the second floor of the house would provide our two teenage boys
with some privacy 5) a large, screened in cedar porch at the back of
the house for quiet time after a hard days work, and lastly but most
important 6) a step above the rest in quality workmanship, in
addition to quality materials used throughout the entire house.
Needless to say, we bought the house at 110 Lost Antlers, and
lived there very happily until my husband’s job was once again
transferred in November 2006, back to Red Lion, Pennsylvania. In the
sixteen months we lived there, Rickey was always prompt in
responding to any questions, concerns or minor problems we had
regarding the house. On the few occasions that we contacted him with
an issue regarding the house, Rickey’s response was prompt,
professional, and timely. We came to not only value him as an
exceptional builder of homes, but also as a valued friend.
Upon our experience with Home Building Group of Texarkana, Inc.
we would highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a home!

In 2005 I got in touch with Rickey Riebesell of Home Building
Group of Texarkana and had a contract to build a house for me. The
house was built on time.
Rickey did a wonderful job of selecting appliances and light
fixtures. His taste and professionalism must be appreciated. The
finishing work on the house was superb. After living in the house
for one year, I am completely satisfied. If I ever had a house
built, I would definitely choose Home Building Group of Texarkana.

Rickey, just wanted to thank you for helping us achieve our dream
bathroom. I appreciate so much all the extra time you took with Mike
and I to understand what we wanted, so you could make our vision a
reality. All of your employees and subcontractors were great. They
listened to me and if there was a problem, they corrected it
promptly. We look forward to working with you again in the future.
Thanks again. Ann
